Stephanie, Just visited your family's blog and saw the link to yours. Thought I'd check it out and when it popped up I just stared at your beautiful smiling face and had an image of your lovely mother fill my mind. Other than the hair color, you remind me very much of your mom, who I only met a handful of times, but who was always so gracious and kind to me. I thought you'd like to know that I see her so much in you, not only your features, but also your warmness, kindness, and giving nature. Take care, sweet girl. I hope you are so very happy. I can only imagine how proud your mom is of the beautiful woman you have become!
"God’s work is progressive. It changes its appearance but never its principles. The truths upon which it is founded are eternal, unalterable, but there are many regulations that change and change and change, as the work of God goes on. The everlasting gospel is something more than a fire escape, the way out of a perilous situation. It is the divine plan for human progress, the pathway to perfection; and the spirit of the gospel is the spirit of improvement, of advancement." -Elder Orson F. Whitney
"The ability to qualify for, receive, and act on personal revelation is the single most important skill that can be acquired in this life." -Sister Julie B. Beck
"You can be wise and happy or stupid and miserable." -President Gordon B. Hinckley
To exercise faith is to trust that the Lord knows what He is doing with you and that He can accomplish it for your eternal good even though you cannot understand how He can possibly do it. -Elder Richard G. Scott
All things that pertain to life and godliness are the effects of faith and nothing else; all learning, wisdom and prudence fail, and everything else as a means of salvation but faith. This is the reason that the fishermen of Galilee could teach the world--because they sought by faith and by faith obtained. -Joseph Smith, Jr.
